Vicky Chuaybamrung of Mary Street Bakery wins WA Breezey Masters

Vicky Chuaybamrung Breezey Masters

Vicky Chuaybamrung of Mary Street Bakery has won the Western Australian Breezey Masters competition, the final Australian regional of the 2019 season.

Ethan Son, Andy Tseng, and Russelle Tolentino rounded out the final four of the competition, held at The Faculty by The Northbridge Coffee Roasters in Perth.

The competition’s three judges tasked with scoring the talented baristas for the evening were John Ferrari and Andrew Marr from The Faculty as well as Adam from Fiori Coffee.

Perth coffee professional Rie Moustakas served as the evening’s MC. The Faculty’s Amanda had the job of pulling perfectly consistent shots for the competitors.

Vicky took home $1000 prize money and will compete in the Breezey Masters Grand Final in Sydney on World Coffee Day – 1 October.

Breezey Masters will next head to New Zealand for the Auckland regional on 6 August at Karajoz Coffee Company.
