The AB200 is an “exciting new addition to the Astoria lineup” according to Coffee Works Express (CWE) Marketing and Brand Manager Natalie Kollar.

Available in one, two, and three-group options, the AB200 is also available in a Compact 2G version with a smaller footprint. The range officially launched at World of Coffee Copenhagen in 2024, with the two- and three-group machines available prior to the release of the one-group and Compact 2G versions.

“The Compact 2G offers a two-group machine in a smaller, more compact footprint, making it perfect for places with limited bench space such as bars, restaurants, or coffee carts,” says Natalie.

“It still has all the features of the full-size machine like a hot water outlet, two steam wands, and programmable buttons. This is something CWE has been encouraging CMA Astoria to produce for some time.”

The main differences between the AB200 two-group and the Compact 2G are the boiler size and the footprint. The Compact has a seven-litre boiler capacity, as opposed to 9.5 litres, while it has a bench footprint of 615 millimetres, rather than 770.

Natalie says the introduction of the AB200 range is the latest step in a long and fruitful relationship between CWE and CMA Astoria.

“Astoria has been part of the CWE product catalogue since 2016 and has been a wonderful addition. It’s a brand trusted by the coffee industry, and it has been manufacturing professional coffee machines in Italy since 1969,” says Natalie.
