The Milan Coffee Festival is making its debut this year, opening its doors for the first time in Italy from 30 November to 2 December. The festival will play host to Milan’s growing specialty coffee community at the Spazio Pelota venue in Italy.

Sponsoring the event, La Marzocco will host a large booth celebrating the community and those who are passionate about great coffee. Dedicated areas for the Leva X and the new Modbar AV will give event goers a close-up look at the latest products from the Modbar and La Marzocco family.

La Marzocco will also host its True Artisan Café rotating coffee shop. The booth will provide 12 independent Milan cafés the opportunity to interact with customers and create a bespoke signature drink.

This year’s line-up will include Cafezal, Tipografia Alimentare, Taglio, Orsonero, Cofficina, Pavè, Panini Durini, Milano Roastery, Hygge, Café Gorille, Trippa, and La Bottega Milanese.

La Marzocco says its VIP Lounge will cater to even more senses than just taste, with Greygoose and Elephant Gin shaking up cocktails while live-music and a DJ set fills the air. Local baker and restaurant-made finger foods will be provided.

The festival’s Roasters Village will include an array of Linea Minis, along with a space on the booth where attendees can make espresso themselves.

The Milan Coffee Festival will also hold Coffee Masters’ next competition, CMx – Italy. The competition will see eight of the best baristas in Italy go head-to-head for the grand title, €1000 (about $1560) cash prize, and automatic qualification for a spot in Coffee Masters – London 2019.
