Six regional AeroPress Champions have been announced following competitions across Australia.
Zachary Edwards won the Australian Capital Territory AeroPress Championship, held at Red Brick Espresso on 27 July.
Lucy McCarroll won the Tasmanian AeroPress Championship, held at Pilgrim Coffee on 4 August.
Kurnia Firdaus won the New South Wales AeroPress Championship, held at Five Senses Coffee on 11 August.
Barry Newell won the Queensland AeroPress Championship, held at Wolff Coffee Roasters on 15 August.
Ben Toovey of Genovese Coffee won the Victoria AeroPress Championship, held at Coffee Supreme’s Melbourne roastery on 16 August.
Dave Sharp won the South Australian AeroPress Championship, held at Soho Coffee Roasters on 17 August.
The Western Australian AeroPress Championship will take place at Laika Coffee Roasters and Micrology Coffee Roasters on 7 September.
Winning the regionals has earned the champions a spot in the Australian AeroPress Championship, taking place at Seven Seeds in Melbourne on 19 September.
The World AeroPress Championship will be held in Sydney later this year.
